Coaching Vacancy in Gore
Immediate start required for a coach willing to ease the work load. We have skaters keen to move into private lessons however there just aren’t enough hours in the day for our coaches to take them. Come and be part of a fantastic member run indoor rink in the sports heart of Gore. Ice Sports Southland is primarily a figure skating orientated rink where it’s not hard to be the only one on the ice and where figure skating times are not over crowded. Ideally we would like a coach qualified and experienced in all disciplines of skating but primarily for now will be singles, Kiwiskate, school/social group bookings, development and possibly off-ice training for our competitive skaters. The ideal applicant will also have NZIFSA recognised Level One minimum coaching experience with the opportunity to be involved in some ice hockey if wished. Come and be part of a rink owned by its skaters and not by corporate business men, close to the ski slopes and surrounded by the wonderful vistas of Southland. To find out more please contact the Ice Sports Southland President, Marita Soper 03 203 8963 or 021 332 310 or email ma_pasoper@hotmail.com before Sunday 16th September.
